Potato Growing Competition
The Oxford Farmers Market is running a potato growing competition.  Each competitor is required to pay an entry fee of $5 to cover costs.  The competition will start again in August/September 2017 conclude in April 2018, and the winner will be determined by the biomass of the potato crop at weigh in.  Biomass is weight divided by the number of days so any-one can enter the competition at any time up until Christmas.

At weigh in, you can either keep the potatoes grown or the Market will buy them back and donate them to the Local Food Bank.

You must register to become part of the competition.
Potatoes must be grown in an 10-12 litre bucket and transported to the market in this container on weigh in day
Prize money will not be paid out to competitors who have not registered.
At the end of the competition all decisions made by the management team are final.
